For many doctors, acupuncturists, and other practitioners, writing a case report can be the first effort to get articles published in a medical journal. It is considered a useful exercise and practice in learning how to write scientifically due to the similarity of the basic methodology. In a university-level of TCM education, reading and writing case reports are included as essential parts of the curriculum. According to my personal experience, it’s worth writing case reports not only because the understanding of a disease or a therapy can depend, but valuable information can be spread ！Therefore, a case report worthy of reading should contain both useful practical messages and educational purposes.
